language templates[edytuj]

Hello. I'm afraid I don't understand you fully: do you mean templates like de:Vorlage:en? We don't use such templates and probably will never use; there's simply no application for them here. --Derbeth talk 16:46, 25 lis 2008 (CET)[odpowiedz]

I noticed that you don't use them. In fact that's exactly the reason why I had hoped to find them... Let me explain. I'm trying to create an interface to make all the different Wiktionaries more accessible. For that I need a way to get from actual language names to iso2/iso3. On other Wiktionaries they use the templates, but since on this one you don't, it's even more important for me to be able to convert a language name to its iso-code.
Is there some place I can find all the language names in Polish with their corresponding iso3 code? If it doesn't exist, would you be willing to compile such a list? I can put a copy of User:AutoFormat/Languages this over here and you could translate all the language names. As a reward for all your efforts, I would be willing to create all the corresponding entries (where they don't exist yet), properly formatted from that list. What do you think? It will take a lot of effort to look up all those language names, but far less effort than having to create all those entries for them manually. --Polyglot 17:49, 25 lis 2008 (CET)[odpowiedz]

Well, it depends what do you consider "language name". We use two forms here: short and long; that's something like "English" vs. "English language" - "angielski" vs. "język angielski". You can use w:Special:Whatlinkshere/Szablon:Język infobox - there's a parameter "iso3" in the infobox for each language. --Derbeth talk 23:20, 25 lis 2008 (CET)[odpowiedz]
